Skating sprints today, the course is about 1.1km, and it suits me fairly well. Qualifying round felt good, I was relaxed and smooth, but didn't feel like I had pushed any limits physiologically. I end up in 29th, which puts me in a heat with Devon, Shane and Skeets Morel. I had a good start and ended up third in line behind Devon and Skeets. On the second and last uphill I chose the outside lane to try and move up to second, but it was a bad choice and I ended up fourth. When it came down to the last straight away, I had no juice left to accelerate, so ended up last. One of the closest round one heats, if you ask me.
